Gimli Model Fest: Schedule
Modellers will begin to arrive at GMF through out the week, flying usually starts at 9:00am and ends at dark.
The first official day of GMF flying is on the Friday of GMF weekend.
The skies are filled and buzzing on Saturday.
On Sunday morning, some try to get in a few more flights in before the airshow from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
After the airshow open flying continues.
Flying Schedule:
Monday to Wednesday – flyers are welcome to come early and fly at the field.
Thursday – open flying, tent and additional fencing set up during the day.
Friday – 1st day of GMF, open flying, 8:00am to dusk! Campfire and hangar flying well into the night!
Saturday – open flying, 8:00am to dusk! Feel free to sign up Sunday’s airshow, all types of model are need to fill the 3 hour program. "Whole Hog Pig Roast" served for supper ($15.00 cost). Campfire and hangar flying well into the night!
Sunday - open flying, 8:00am to noon. Airshow briefing at noon. Airshow from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Post airshow spectator visits from 4:00pm to 4:30pm Open flying 4:30pm to dusk!
